Or stop checking by hand

Save a ticket once. We watch it after every drawing.

A ticket in a coat pocket is still a ticket. We'll email you if one of yours wins, and never for anything else.

What we store

  • The numbers on the tickets you save, and your email address
  • Nothing else. No name, no address, no card
  • Delete a ticket and the numbers go with it
  • The checker above stores nothing at all, signed in or not

Free for ten tickets. No password to set.

Why bother

Most unclaimed prizes are small ones.

Nobody forgets to check after a billion dollar roll. The tickets that expire are the four dollar ones, bought on a Tuesday and left in a coat pocket.

01

Order never matters

A ticket played 25-10-05-20-15 against a drawing of 05-10-15-20-25 is a five number match. People check position by position, see two that line up, and throw away a winner.

02

The bonus ball is its own machine

A 7 among your main numbers doesn't match a 7 drawn as the bonus ball. It also means the bonus ball on its own can win, which plenty of people never think to check.

03

Your state changes the answer

A Pennsylvania retailer can hand you $2,500 in cash. A Vermont one can hand you $499. Same ticket, same prize. The rules by state.

Questions

Is it free?
Yes. Checking numbers is free and unlimited, and you don't need an account. A free account lets us watch your saved tickets and email you if one wins. There's a paid plan for people who save a lot of tickets, but most people never need it.
Do you store the numbers I enter?
No. You type them in, we compare them, and we forget them. Nothing goes to our database or our logs. A ticket you save is stored, because that's the point of saving it.
Will you tell me if I win?
If you saved the ticket, yes. We check it after every drawing it's entered in and email you if it wins. Email can bounce and claim windows close, so treat your wallet here as the real record.
Can I take a picture of my ticket instead of typing it?
Yes, with a free account, which comes with five reads. You'll see the numbers we read and can fix any of them before anything is saved. Typing is free and gives you the same answer.
Where do the results come from?
From the lottery operators and state open data portals. Your paper ticket is still the only thing you can claim a prize with.
How long do I have to claim a prize?
Between 90 days and a year. It depends on the state that sold the ticket, not the game. We publish the deadline for every state we cover, with the source and the date we checked it.
What time do ticket sales stop before a drawing?
It depends on your state and your game. Michigan closes Powerball at 9:58pm and Mega Millions at 10:45pm, for drawings held a minute apart. Pick your state on the home page and we'll tell you.
