How many numbers do you need to win a prize on Powerball?
The smallest win is just the Powerball, paying $4. There are 9 ways to win. Without the Powerball, you need three numbers at $7.
Does matching just the Powerball win anything?
Yes. The Powerball on its own pays $4. A single white number on its own pays nothing.
What is the Powerball jackpot actually worth?
Less than the figure advertised. It is an annuity paid over decades, the cash option is often around half, and it is divided if more than one ticket wins. That is why we do not print a number next to a jackpot match.
How do I check my Powerball numbers?

Does the Power Play apply to every prize?
